Connor eating his birthday cake

Connor didn't really eat his birthday cake. We made a dump truck cake and he wanted to play with the trucks and candles more than eat the cake. We finally fed some of it to him and he liked it. But didn't want to feed himself.

Connor's Easter Experience

Connor's Easter basket this year consisted of some bouncy balls, a pacifier, chocolate (for his parents), some cars and a bunch of books. Here are his before and after pictures.

He really liked the pacifier, he used it right away.

Connor is ONE YEAR OLD!!

Our baby has turned into a little boy. He has started to do a lot more things too:

-When he doesn't get his way he cries, super fun :)

-Walking more, getting more confident with how far he will walk.

-Loves playing in the grass, now that the weather is getting nicer.

-Has an opinion about things

-Tries to communicate what he wants by reaching for it. He will tell us he wants to go outside by reaching for the door, or if he wants a banana he will reach for it.

-Babbles more

-Likes to scream when he is excited.

-Can feed himself better, but prefers to be fed with messy foods. For example, he didn't really want to eat his birthday cake, I think because it was messy. But he also didn't really like it all that much (see picture below :)

Connor 11 Months

Sorry for all the pictures, I couldn't decide on one for his 11 month picture. Connor is up to no good as usual. New things he is doing this month include:

-Is really improving at walking holding only one of my hands

-Walks with his CAT truck or push cart. He's getting good at turning around so we don't have to start him over each time he gets to a wall.

-Shows me where the light and Collin is (the boy I watch)

-Is improving at reading with us. He usually just closes the book and tries to chew on it, now he lets us read it to him. Super cute!!

-Gets mad when he doesn't get his way and hits me. Super fun...

-Likes to take things off the shelf (books, movies, etc) and throw them on the floor. He used to hand them to us, now he THROWS them.

-Tries to take the duct tape off things he is not suppose to get into, sometimes he is successful.

-Walks along everything.

-Loves the mirror

-Likes to watch cars go by

-His newest word is "oh" it is pretty adorable. There is a picture of him doing it below.

Connor 10 Months Old

Holy Cow, time flies!!!



I couldn't decide on one picture, so I am using them all. Here is what Connor is up to at 10 Months old:

-Pulls himself up on everything

-Loves opening and closing things (more like slamming things), like the cupboard doors or doors in general

-Will walk with you using one hand (usually he won't walk unless he is holding both of your hands)

-His first word might be "Yeah." He says it all the time

-Loves to copy what we are doing.

-Eating more table foods

-Has four teeth

-Started using a sippe cup, so cute!!

-Started waving, the first time he did it I was super late to an appointment. I couldn't leave it was so cute!!

-Points at things he wants with his whole hand
